AT&T BYRON NELSON EVENT SECURITY
EvenTech Systems provided golf tournament event security and guest-screening support for the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch. The tournament welcomed players, staff members, sponsors, and large crowds throughout the event.
To support safe and efficient entry, EvenTech deployed OPENGATE advanced weapons detection technology at public, staff, and player entrances. In addition, our on-site gate managers helped organize screening lanes and maintain steady guest movement into the venue.
Large golf tournaments require security coverage across multiple entrances and event areas. Attendance can also increase quickly during popular tournament rounds and headline activities. Therefore, organizers need a screening process that protects guests without creating long lines.
Traditional screening equipment may require visitors to stop individually or remove personal items. However, OPENGATE allows guests to move naturally through the screening area while security personnel monitor alerts.
EvenTech Systems placed OPENGATE units at entrances used by the public, staff, and tournament players. The deployment supported continuous weapons detection while helping guests enter the event with fewer interruptions.
Our team also reviewed entrance layouts and guest-flow requirements before positioning the equipment. As a result, security teams could use the available space more effectively and reduce congestion near screening checkpoints.
