In 2022, Gulfstream Park to the next step in enhancing their event security operations by including the deployment of OPENGATE Advanced Weapons Detection technology.  This included at all public and staff entrances to the event site, creating a clean zone inside the event perimeter.  Deploying during events such as the Pegasus Cup and Florida Derby, guests coming to enjoy these events had the confidence to know they were safe.
